Sound attenuators are used in domestic as well as commercial settings. This is to reduce noise which is generated by the air and gas flow. In certain instances it may not be possible to use either circular or rectangular attenuators. It is therefore advisable to use elbow or bend attenuators. These provide the maximum pressure drop and are therefore ideal to be used in places where the noise level is deafening.
